Alfred and Charlies BQ House is the best place to go for barbeque in Gaston County. The best variety of sauces i have ever seen in my entire life!  Darlene and Alfred, the two owners of this awesome restaurant, are very nice with southern hospitality. I highly recommend this place. Good pit cooked barbeque, steaks, ribs, chicken of any kind, and banana pudding, you cant forget the banana pudding.

Alfred and Charlie's is the best all around restaurant in Gaston County. It is set in an old house and retains the at home feeling. The menu is well varied. I go there at least once a week. . Try the fried turkey, BBQ chicken, homemade soups, or breakfast. You won't be disappointed in this one! Southern hospitality greets you at the door and follows thru with great food.

Alfred & Charlies Bbq House is located at 815 S New Hope Rd in Gastonia, North Carolina. It is a unique place because not only do they specialize in bbq and catering it, they specialize in serving breakfast all day. And, that I love. I find it hard to believe that one place really does all that, but they do, and they do it well. I love going there because of the service, the prices, and the food. I recommend this place at five stars. They are great!

I recently went to Alfred and Charlies BBQ (and catering) the other night for dinner. It's an old house redone into a restaurant with outstanding service and great food. We had a sampler of the various BBQs they made and each table has it's own 5-6 different sauces available for those who like it saucy! They server breakfast all day which was great for my son - he could eat pancakes for dinner :). A few days later, we received a HAND WRITTEN thank you card and B1G1 coupons for a future visit. Too nice!
